The converner, Asue Ighodalo Patriot, Paul Smith Eghobor, on Monday, dismissed insinuations that he had stopped supporting the Peoples Democratic Party and its governorship candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo for the All Progressives Congress and its candidate
Paul Smith Eghobor, who said he would never support the APC, appealed to the spreading the rumor to stop maligning his character and person and cautioned them against the politics of bitterness.
The PDP leader, who spoke in Ekpoma, the administrative headquarters of Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, while addressing his supporters, urged AIP members to remain focused, reassuring them of Asue Ighodalo victory come September 21 governorship election.
His statement reads;
“It has come to my notice that some elements are going round spreading rumours that I am working with Apc, those rumours are not true, is a fake news from the pit of hell.”
I am a true member of the PDP and Asue Ighodalo patriot remains focused on the campaign for Dr Asue Ighodalo’s victory.”
