PA ETOSE DICKSON IMASOGIE SENDS HEARTFELT GRATITUDE MESSAGE
…says; “I am not taking your visit, prayers, gifts for granted as you made my 83rd birthday a memorable one”
The Edo South Senatorial District of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) foremost leader, elder state man and father figure, Pa. Etose Dickson Imasogie has thanked the PDP family, the governor of Edo State, his executive members and the good people of Edo state, for their birthday wishes and gifts.
Pa. Etose Dickson Imasogie said he was indeed humbled by the kind words on his birthday.
The message reads in parts: It is with a happy and humble heart that I want to sincerely appreciate and thank everyone for making my 83rd birthday celebration a memorable day.
I want to first and foremost thank His Excellency, The Executive Governor Of Edo State, Mr Godwin Enogheghase Obaseki who came in person to celebrate with me. And also, the humble Secretary to the State government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie Esq. Your presence and gift did not only make my day, it was a moment of joy for me and my family.
Also, my special thanks goes to some commissioners who took out time to grace the occasion; Hon. Paschal Ugbome Esq, Hon. Monday Osaigbovo [Commissioner for local government, community and chieftaincy affairs], Hon. Chris Nehikhare [Commissioner for information and Orientation], Hon. Lady Uwa Osunbor, Executive chairman, Uhunmwode L.G.A, Hon. Adodo Kenneth Osarobo, other council chairmen, leaders of various local governments and their executives, and so many government functionaries who I may not be able to mention all the names. God bless you all.
I will not fail to appreciate the good people of Oza Street for their love and cooperation. Also, special thanks to political friends and associates for their prayers, love and gift. I am not taking this for granted, as you celebrate with me ,God will lift you above your equals.
To all my esteemed people who called me father, the women group, members of the house, the non indigene of the state and numerous individuals who brought gift items and physically were present. God will honour you.
Thanks to all members of the leading social media Influencers body in the state, Edo State Social Media Force for gracing the occasion with a surprise gift of appreciation, and for all you do for the progress and growth of all. If I continue with this appreciation, I may not finish because the names are endless.
However, thanks to God almighty, the sustainer of life. The giver of breath, health and sound mind. He has kept me all these years. Many of my mates are long gone but God in his mercy kept me alive. May His name be praised.
