Our Humpty Dumpty APC President Bola Tinubu By Rev Olu Martins
If you are familiar with the popular Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme you couldn’t have missed the part where it said “Humpty Dumpty had a great fall and all the kings men and horses could not put Humpty Dumpty together again”.
Our president who promised to hit the ground running has obviously hit the ground broken like Humpty Dumpty.
We are at the point where Fela Anikulapo Kuti ( the abami eda himself) said “overtake don overtake overtake”. Egg don overtake fufu, goat meat don overtake cow meat, zobo don overtake coca-cola and garden egg has overtaken guinea fowl egg.
Indeed the center cannot for many Nigerians except for APC members who have food items and the essentials of life subsidized for them. Or are APC members suffering with us? I doubt
On a good day before now, Liar Mohammed will have been churning out press statements by the minute calling President Goodluck Jonathan an infant president. This is the time where Nobel Laurent Wole Soyinka would have used his near baritone Queens ( abi na king now) English to describe Jonathan as being worse than Nebuchadnezzar.
What is more, my dear Pastor Tunde Bakare would have called Nigerians out for a street protest asking for collaboration from many other civil society activists and the church to join him.
Alas these guys are either cowards, hypocrites or altogether too overwhelmed by the heavy burden of the economic load president Bola Tinubu put on all of us to remember the things they said or did during the time of Goodluck Jonathan.
Finally our “hit the ground” running president don hit himself and the rest of us for ground yakata and when organized Labour demand for better wages to live through the hell that the president and his handlers put us all, they have to go through another hell in strikes to get Mr President to give to them what he gave to the national assembly a hundred fold over without agitation or confrontation.
Where where we where ( in the voice of vice president Osinbajo) before now I cannot tell but all I can say is that May APC not happen to us again in this country and especially Edo State.
