By Noble Sunday

The Executive Director of Initiatives For Youth Awareness On Migration, Development and Reintegration (IYAMIDR), Comrade Solomon Okoduwa has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his victory at the Edo Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which on Wednesday declared him the winner of the September 21, 2024 Edo State governorship election.

He also congratulated his Deputy Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for the victory recorded.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by Comrade Okoduwa on Wednesday night added to the growing list of felicitations from across the state and beyond, as Governor Okpebholo’s victory continues to echo in and out of Edo State.

Okoduwa, a well respected activist and youth leader, while expressing joy for their well deserved victory at the election petition tribunal, maintained that “We are grateful to God for upholding this victory that was freely given to us by the good people of Edo State.

He said further, “The victory reflects the will of the people as the man whom God sent to Edo state to demonstrate the renewed hope agenda of Mr president Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Edo has risen.”

“This victory is the victory for progress, development, security and for agricultural development in the state.

Okoduwa, a former Senior Special Assistant to ex-Governor Godwin Obaseki on Anti Human Trafficking Issues, noted that the decision of the three-member panel of the panel cleared any doubt on the victory of the APC in the election.

“This is a victory for democracy, the rule of law, the All Progressives Congress and the good people of Edo State.

Excited Okoduwa however advised Barr. Asue Ighodalo to accept the open arms of Governor Okpebholo who has announced to extend an olive branch to him and other opponents in the 2024 governorships election in the state.

According to Okoduwa, “We therefore ask Mr Asue Ighodalo and his team to take advantage of this judgment to key into the SHINE AGENDA of the governor and stop waisting resources for fruitless and unproductive appeal that will also be thrown out by the court as the Governor in his magnanimity and simplicity has graciously extended his olive branch to all. Once again, congratulations to our governor.”

The youth leader wished the governor successful tenure in office.
