….urges the gov to remain committed to pursuit of excellence
The secretary general of NIDO Africa Continental, Hon. Sir Hamzaosa Ode-Idahosa JP, has sent in New Year messages to the governor of Edo State Senator Monday Okpebholo and the good of the state.
In a letter he personally signed and made available to newsmen, Hon. Sir Ode-Idahosa commended the governor for his tireless efforts in leading the state towards greatness.
The letter reads;

His Excellency, The Governor of Edo State,
Edo State Government House,
Benin City, Edo State.
Your Excellency,
I wish to extend my warmest greetings to you, the traditional rulers, and the entire people of Edo State, both at home and in the Diaspora, as we celebrate the beginning of a new year.
As we step into 2025, I pray that this year brings us closer to achieving our collective goals and aspirations for our dear state. May it be a year of peace, progress, and prosperity for all Edo people.
I commend your tireless efforts in leading our state towards greatness. Your vision and leadership have been a source of inspiration to many, and I am confident that with your continued guidance, Edo State will reach even greater heights.
To our traditional rulers, I express my deepest respect and appreciation for your role in promoting our rich cultural heritage and preserving the traditions that make us who we are.
And to the youth of Edo State, I urge you to remain committed to the pursuit of excellence and to continue being ambassadors of our great state. Your energy, creativity, and resilience are essential to our collective progress.
As we look at the future, I propose the following:
– Increased investment in education and skills development
– Economic empowerment programs for youth and women
– Infrastructure development to boost trade and commerce
– Strengthening institutions to promote good governance and transparency
– Promotion of tourism and cultural heritage
– Support for entrepreneurship and innovation
– Improved healthcare and social services
