More crises hits NNPP as Estako East LGA Excos , passes vote of no confidence on Azemenh Azenah

…..rejects him as NNPP Guber Candidate

….suspends him from the party

The Estako East Local Government Council Chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, on Monday passed the vote of no confidence on the embattled NNPP governorship candidate, Dr. Azemenh Azenah and thereby rejects him as the party’s gubernatorial candidate.

The LGA Executive Committee revealed this after a vote of no confidence was passed on the leadership of state executives.

A statement signed and forwarded to Newsmen said; “the executive Estako East Local Government Area passed a vote of no confidence on Dr. Azemenh Azenah the embattled governorship candidate and hereby suspend him from our great party.

The executives said he was suspended for various reasons which includes; anti-party activities, disregard for party leaders, deceit, encouraging division in the party among others.

Recalled, two weeks ago the embattled governorship candidate was also suspended by the leadership of his ward for the same reasons.

The letter of suspension reads;

New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP),
Etsako East Local Government Area.

SUSPENSION LETTER

We the NNPP Executives Etsako East Local Government Area (LGA) has passed a VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE on Dr. Azemhe Azena our Governorship Candidate and hereby suspended him from our great Party.

Dr. Azemhe Azena is suspended for the following reasons:
a) Anti Party activities. He has publicly endoresed the APC Candidate in a well publicised online Video in a church programme held in Auchi at Omega Fire Ministry, this has caused the Party too much shame, embarrassment and ridicule.

b) Disregard for Party Leaders. He has completely relegated Party Leaders from carrying out their functions especially in Etsako East Local Government by entrusting all Party duties to his Boys that are not known to the Party. We no longer know what is happening in our own Party, even Governorship Campaign activities we do not know what is happening. He has assumed leadership of the Party at all levels.

c) He has been deceitful. He has deceived the Party by circulating a manipulated and doctored Video of his endorsement by his spiritual father Apst. Johnson Suleiman. He released his purportedly endorsement video pretending that it was released after his opened endorsement of the APC Gubernatorial Candidate in One of the Omega Church Fire Ministry Church services at the Church Headquarters.

d) Encouraging division in the Party. From the day he won the Party’s controversial Primaries, he has succeeded in causing problems that even scared many of our Party’s old members away going by the way they were maltreated during the Primaries. We have been seeing him having open media war with some of our respected State Executive Members which amounted to public mockery, disgrace and dragging the name of our Party to the mud. We saw him posting pages of our Party constitution and posting telephone numbers of some Party National Officers, coderming and flouting official directives of some State Officers and State Working Committee.

He is suspended from the Party, NNPP, we also wish to support the suspension already placed on him by his Ward 10 Executive Members Okpekpe, Etsako East Local Government.

Signed:

1) Chief Paul Omoh. Ogwemoh
LGA Party Chairman.

2) Mr. John Obeakhemhe,
