Major blow hits APC in Esan West ward one as more defectors dump party for PDP
The Member representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc, has received APC defectors from Ward 1, who have come to join the PDP ahead of the Governorship elections.
Receiving the defectors, Rt.Hon Marcus Onobun ksc, welcomed them to the PDP where every member has equal rights; maintaining that as they have come to join in support of the candidacy of Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie for Governor and Deputy respectively, the PDP would be victorious next month.
He advised them to canvass for votes as elections are won with numbers, calling on them to ensure they bring all their supporters to the PDP.
The leader of the defectors explained that they are in support of Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogies’ mandate.
They explained that more defectors would be received during the ward to ward Congress, as many of the APC members do not believe in the candidate of the APC as he doesn’t have what it takes to govern a state like Edo .
The defectors include Barr Lucas Aiyobe, the former executive director on transport to ex- Governor Adams Oshiomole, APC Ward Youth Leader, Mr Oziengbe Edward, the APC major financier in the ward Mr Charles, and Mr Peter Osahon Nathaniel.
