Kassim ‘Alaroka’
Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua’s Diabolical Plot To Set Edo State On Fire Through His Satanic Concoction

There is diabolical and sinister plot by one Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua to set Edo State on fire ahead of the coming September 21 governorship election in the state through his improbable concoction.
Afegbua, once aptly described as ‘Alaroka’ by a guest writer, Femi Alaka, in TheCable of February 28, 2022, has continued to exhibit his repugnant and dare-devil characteristics associated with that name — Alaroka.
On Tuesday evening, there was a bizarre concoction by Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua, the “media consultant” to the Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC), claiming that Governor Godwin Obaseki and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state, Dr Asue Ighodalo, were planning to depose the Oba of Benin and demolish the Palace Museum. For what reason, if I may ask?
Only a wizard of the most brutal and blood thirsty hue, who does not wish his people well, bent on causing trouble and setting the whole state on fire, will concoct such an outlandish story just to score cheap political points. This just goes to show how dangerous and malevolent these opposition individuals who are seeking to lead Edo State really are.
Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua has only confirmed that if he and his band of nitwits were the ones in Government House, this is exactly what they would do. The mere thought of a possible act such as this is enough for Edo people to reject the APC and whatever it stands for in the state.
I think the security forces should not treat this baseless and unfounded allegation with kid gloves. Afegbua and his ilk must learn to desist from making the Oba the subject of politics. It’s irreverent and sacrilegious.
Apparently, Kassim Alaroka Afegbua probably never knew that Dr Asue Ighodalo had in a letter he personally signed on Tuesday, rejoiced with and congratulated the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, on the latest repatriation of prized artefacts from the United States of America.
Instructively, Ighodalo declared in the letter sent to The Palace and well received, that ‘the artefacts have returned to their rightful home” and above all, the Omo N’Oba is the “owner and custodian of the Benin artefacts.”
Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua knows that his party stands no chance in the election that is just about 66 days away and he has, therefore, concluded that the most himself and his co-travellers can do is to instigate confusion and uprising against the government and other law abiding citizens of the state. He has failed. His plan to set the state on fire and make the holding of the election impossible has failed.
All Edo people should disregard Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua’s satanic claims. He is not just a liar, he is the father of lies.
Let it be known, that Ighodalo is a man of peace, a lover of the people, culture and a respecter of tradition, especially the monarchy in Edo and beyond. For Ighodalo , it’s love for all and malice to none.
Kassim ‘Alaroka’ Afegbua’s tortuous, unsettled and delirious mind can keep fabricating lies and propaganda, it will not be enough to distract Ighodalo, whose eyes are firmly focused on the ball — making Edo State a first world sub-national sovereign in Nigeria. This, he has succinctly set out in his “The Pathway to Prosperity for All” manifesto.
