Democracy is a contestation of ideas. Politics is the advancement of collective interest for the greater good. Political parties and individuals advance sane reasonable ideas to convince people in their direction and that of their party.
I watched a poor orchestration by the violence speaking Chairman of the APC and their media incompetent gubernatorial candidate where their “arrangee” inspection of boundary road didn’t go well in their attempt to hoodwink the Edo people.
For starters everyone in Edo State knows that the Boundary Road is one of the best roads in the Gra; spanning the Airport Road end to the Adesuwa end. Even when the tail end of the road towards Adesuwa may have a flood challenge, the flood disappears in about thirty minutes because of the drainage system there.
My challenge really isn’t the road because Gov Godwin Obaseki is the only Governor that has given Gra the current attention it is receiving. Remember that comrade Oshiomole didn’t even lift a pin in Gra because he claimed it was a place for the rich (we go yarn that matter another day).
My grouse is the very undemocratic language of the APC Chairman, which is often his signature. How does a chairman say that: ” WE WOULD WIPE AWAY GOVERNOR OBASEKI AND THEY WOULD KNOW NO PEACE” ?
That statement is a clarion call for violence and clear expression of intolerance by a supposed Democrat who wants to be taken seriously. The same Jarrett Tenebe once accused former Deputy Governor Phillip Shaibu of stealing his wristwatch only to be seen with him a few weeks later after Comrade Phillip returned the wristwatch ( abi e never return am?)
Mr APC Chairman Sir, den nor dey wipe off for democracy dem dey engage the electorate; an activity which your candidate isn’t willing to participate in.
Mr APC Chairman Sir we will know peace in Edo State, because election is a propagation of ideals and programs not a declaration of war.
Mr APC Chairman Sir, please tell your candidate to talk to humans and not to water because, im nor be Moses wey part the Red Sea.

Mr APC Chairman Sir your party APC as led by comrade Adams Oshiomole didn’t touch the Gra roads at all for eight years.
Mr APC Chairman Sir, Mr APC Chairman Mr APC Chairman Sir, please convince your candidate to speak to the Edo people in any language he is comfortable with, because almost three months after the primaries, Edo people haven’t heard from him on any subject matter whatsoever.
