Insecurity: Esan Central LG Chairman, Iyoha, Presents Motorcycles To Edo Security Network
As part of efforts to surmount the security challenges in Edo State, the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, Hon. Paul Onosedeba Iyoha, on Tuesday, on behalf of the Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, presented five new Motorcycles to the Edo State Security Network in the council.
He urged them to redouble their operational tactics in a bid to achieve the desired goals of securing the council, advising that the motorcycles were not personal properties, but tools meant for patrol by security team.
Speaking during the event held at the local government secretariat and attended by community and political leaders, Hon. Paul Iyoha maintained that the procurement and presentation of the motorbikes were in conformity with the directive of Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki that local government chairmen must step up to the plate on security.
He assured the security network that more motorcycles were being expected to enhance efficient regular security operations, urging them to always comport themselves in responsible manner so as to avoid penalties.
Hon. Paul Onosedeba Iyoha equally urged residents of the local government to continue to support Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki administration so that he would consolidate his vision and achievements in the areas of security, education, heath and steady expansion of the state’s economy.
Earlier, the leader of the Edo state security network Esan central local government chapter, eulogised Governor Godwin Obaseki for tackling the security challenges facing the state head on.
