The APC chieftain called on other aspirants to collapse their political structures and align with Hon. Ikpea’s vision for progress and development. He highlighted that Ikpea’s contributions to the socio-economic growth of Edo Central have set him apart as the most deserving candidate. “Hon. Ikpea’s numerous initiatives in areas such as skill development, job creation, and financial support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have brought remarkable transformation to the lives of many. The name ‘Ikpea’ is synonymous with charity and progress, not only in Edo Central but across Nigeria,” he added.
Osezele further appealed for harmony within the party and beyond, stressing that Ikpea’s candidacy is a unifying force for the people of Edo Central. “To my fellow aspirants, I urge you to support the party’s choice. Let us work together for the good of our district. And to those from other political parties, this is a call for unity. Hon. Ikpea represents the aspirations of our people, and aligning with him is aligning with the progress we all desire,” he said.
The program, “Esan Must Move Forward,” brought together professionals, political leaders, and community stakeholders from across the senatorial district. It served as a platform to discuss the future of Edo Central and the role of leadership in driving sustainable development. Hon. Osezele used the occasion to stress the importance of supporting a candidate with a proven track record of delivering results.
“Hon. Joseph Ikpea is not just a candidate; he is a symbol of hope and progress. His dedication to empowering farmers, supporting youth entrepreneurship, and driving infrastructural development has positioned him as the best choice for Edo Central. This is why he will be nominated unopposed, and we are confident he will win the by-election,” Osezele emphasized.
He also called on other stakeholders in the region to support the APC’s decision, noting that unity is crucial for the district’s advancement. “This election is not about partisan politics; it is about the future of Edo Central. Hon. Ikpea has the capacity, experience, and vision to take our district to greater heights. It is time to join hands and move forward together,” he said.
The APC chieftain also urged security agencies to maintain peace and order during the election period, ensuring a level playing field for all. He expressed optimism that with collective effort, the APC would secure a decisive victory in the by-election under Hon. Ikpea’s leadership.
