I Will make Esan South East Local Government Great, if Elected—LOUIS IMHANDEGBELO..
The PDP Chairmanship Candidate of Esan South East Local Government for September 2nd local government Election in Edo State, Louis Imhandegbelo made this call in an interview with HANKS MEDIA in his country home Ohordua on Tuesday morning. He said his Administration’s policy would be inline with the policy of the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, and will make Esan South East local government to be economically viable so that the local government will not rely on only monthly federal allocations, but the revenue Source that would help in developing Esan South East local government to be one of the best developed local governments not only in the state, but the country at large if Elected.
He also stated that he will build on Gov Godwin Obaseki Security architecture for rapid Development in the local Government as well as the maintenance of peace and security in the LGA.
He also highlighted some achievable goals if elected.
Ensure open, inclusive and participatory governance in the LGA.
To serve the LGA to the best of his ability, utilising all the resources at his disposal;
To behave – both professionally and personally – in a manner that is always above reproach;
To be a person of integrity;
To be accountable;
To take the LGA concerns seriously;
To treat every with dignity and respect;
To regularly consult with electorate and to report back;
To be the voice of the LGA in all Council meetings; and to always work for, and with the exco members of the LGA.
He pledge to always honour, uphold, defend and protect the Constitution and all rights enshrined therein for all, and to maintain the Rule of Law in Local Government.
He commit to honour, uphold and defend the vision, mission and values of his party PDP.
He also pledge to serve the LGA with the utmost integrity, to honour his duty, and to honour his promises.
