HONOURABLE CHIEF FADA TAYLOR EIGBIREMONLEN FELICITATES WITH WORKERS ON INTERNATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY

On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, I, Hon Chief Fada Taylor Eigbiremonlen, Member representing Esan Central at the Edo State House of Assembly, extend my warmest felicitations to the working class, labour unions and all hardworking individuals in Esan Central, Edo state and across Nigeria.
Today, we celebrate the resilience, dedication and contributions of workers who are the backbone of our economy and society; acknowledging their struggles and sacrifices that have shaped our communities.
I commend H.E Godwin Obaseki-led Edo State Government for the recent increment of the minimum wage to seventy thousand Naira (#70,000), a worthy recognition of the contributions of the workers’ population to the overall economic growth of the state and Esan Central in particular. This bold step demonstrates the government’s commitment to improving the welfare and wellbeing of workers. I am proud to be part of this administration.
As a representative of the people, I reaffirm my commitment to promoting workers’ rights, improving working conditions and advocating for policies that benefit the every Edolite. Be assured of my support for initiatives that enhances the welfare and wellbeing of workers, including fair compensation, social protection and access to quality healthcare and education.
Let us honour the spirit of International Workers’ Day by recognizing the value and dignity of labour and working together towards a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
