Hon. Zibiri Muhizu Marvelous Assumes Office as Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area
Etsako West Local Government Area ushered in a new era of leadership and governance as Hon. Zibiri Muhizu Marvelous officially assumed the role of Chairman, following a historic, symbolic, and seamless handover ceremony conducted by the Head of Service/Permanent Secretary, Dr. Matthew B. E. S.
The event, marked by a spirit of unity and anticipation, was a momentous occasion for the people of Etsako West. With the formal transition of authority, Hon. Zibiri Muhizu Marvelous has taken up the mantle to serve and lead the local government to greater heights.
In addition to the official handover, Chairman Hon. Zibiri Muhizu Marvelous administered the oath of office to the newly elected Councilors across the various Wards of Etsako West, signifying their commitment to upholding the values of democracy and serving the interests of the local community.
Following this, the Chairman constituted the legislative arm of the local government, resulting in the following appointments:
– Hon. Yamah Abdul as Speaker of the House
– Hon. Abdulganiyu Oboh as Deputy Speaker
– Hon. M. S. Faruk as Majority Leader
– Hon. Valentine O. Okwilague as Chief Whip
– Hon. Ismaila Kareem as Deputy Chief Whip
