Hon. Sergius Ogun Facilitates Establishment of Cocoa Research Institute, NIFOR Outstations In Edo Central

Edo 2024 Governorship Hopeful and the Oracle of Rural Development, Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Ose Ogun has facilitated the establishment of the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria Outstation at Ukuaza-Uzea, Esan North-East LGA and Nigerian Institute For Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) Outstation in Ugboha, Esan South-East LGA, Edo state.
The popular gubernatorial hopeful and officials from the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria led by the institute’s director, Dr Moses Ogunlade and Dr Famuyiwa Busayo, Head of Uhomora Substation visited Uzea yesterday to inform the onojie of Uzea Kingdom of the positive development. His Royal Highness, Solomon Itoya Iluobe II, the Onojie of Uzea who was irrepressibly elated commended Hon. Sergius Ogun for attracting such a laudable project to his kingdom and immediately donated a parcel of land for the outstation.
In a similar vein, the Uncommon Federal Lawmaker representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly has influenced the establishment of the Nigerian Institute For Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) Outstation in his hometown Ugboha. The land for the outstation has been prepared and the Institute is merely waiting for the heavier rains to commence planting.
