Hon. Joseph Ikpea Commends Esan monarchs, expressed optimism.
A frontline governorship aspirant and chieftain of the all progressives congress (APC), Hon Joseph Ikpea has commended Esan traditional rulers for meeting with the great Oba of Benin kingdom His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II over the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Hon Joseph Ikpea who spoke to our correspondents via phone calls also appreciated and thanked the reverend Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II for his fatherly role in the state and his determination to see a more harmonious relationship in the state.
“I want to specifically thank Esan traditional rulers for this great initiatives. I am optimistic that their efforts will come with a desired result. Their call for equity and justice is timely and a welcome development”
Hon Joseph Ikpea said;
“I want to sincerely thank the Oba of Benin for his fatherly role in the state and his determination to have a more unified and peaceful co-existence we have enjoyed over the years in the state” he added.
Hon Jeo Ikpea further call on Edo major political key actors to also consider the call for equity and justice by the Esan monarchs.
Recall that: Esan traditional rulers led by Ojuromi of Uromi kingdom paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin during the weekend and advocated for Esan governorship in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
