Hon Emwanta At Labor Party: Remembering A Man Consumed By Ignorance Who Was Paid with MOU’s Largesse.

Eben Enasco Reporting.

It would leave Edo people, his friends, his former employers, and supporters in the lurch, after a remark was on Wednesday, credited to a former commissioner, Hon Andrew Adaze Emwanta.

At a forum in the labor party, Emwanta poked his grievances against Governor Godwin Obaseki a man he once revered as the best Governor.

Whether you have been for or against Governor Obsseki, supporters will be united in their overwhelming belief that Hon Andrew Emwanta should sincerely Bury his fat face in shame over his dig at the governor.

Emwanta in his words Said; “In 2020, when the governor came into the PDP, we had people like the Dan Orbihs and the others because of lack of relationship skills, these people have been ostracized from the party; little wonder the party performed abysmally. The time for propaganda and MoUs is over.

Continuing, Enwanta, challenged Governor Godwin Obaseki to give an account of trillions of naira accruable to the state since 2016, while berating the governor for alleged imposition of candidates and destruction of the PDP in the state, accusing him of now occupying the position of a godfather.

In the position Emwanta has taken, it is clear as an inhouse to know more on how the governor had fared for over six years

But he was an active part of it and can not now cajole society after resigning his membership in less than a month and crossing the road to Labour Party.

If Emwanta must be allowed to speak at all, he must be reminded of the similar Godfather role he played at the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, election in Edo State where he manipulated one of his cronies to become the “Forced” Chairman”, all thanks to the resilience of the leaders of the youth council who resisted and relegated his ego.

It is so quick for a man defeated by the youth Council’s leadership in his assertive voyage to come out now condemning the Governor

Hon Emwanta for many observers was one of the principal acts that gave the governor the easiest name-calling when people perceived him to be underperforming.

While he lasted as a commissioner with the Governor people were never satisfied with his actions, particularly in making the big decisions that became a growing concern.

The post of chief image maker is particularly demanding, requiring Catholicity of knowledge, apart from considerable communication skills and a knack for interesting turns of phrase.

This most time leaves the occupant with no time.

If I was asked to scout for capable hands to occupy the seat of the mouthpiece Edo State, Emwanta probably would not make the top hundreds. I will not even sell him a virus in the scheme of things.

Emwanta rode on the back of political godfathers who he is now condemning.

Unlike many extremely hardworking and successful commissioners, Emwanta only desired to socialize with the opposite sex with white elephant promises that guided his notch for a perch.

He enjoyed partying with them when he was a man about the town.

Still, he would leave a fascinating party in the middle and head for his house after the rocks.

His trademark on this was a mobile office, stuffed with all manner of social bays.

When someone remarked that all policemen on night duty in Enugu had known because of his habitual driving in the dead of the night, he retorted that even all nocturnal spirits and armed robbers in the Old City had long befriended him, hence their refusal to harm him.

Labor Party and Edo people should never take him seriously because a sinking man’s only idea lies in the anus.
