HON DR JOSEPH IKPEA: THE ONLY ASPIRANT THROUGH WHOM THE EDO OF OUR DREAM WILL BE BIRTHED.
Quite a number of persons have indicated interest in Edo 2024 guber race.
Some were being told to run even when they were not prepared to do so. Some said they want to run because they were technocrats. Some indicated interests because they felt it was our turn to run in the spirit of fairness and equity.
Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea is out to run because he has the capacity, competence, and character. Above all, he has the development of entire Edo at heart.
He has seen the education sector and what it has become. So many institutions had been shut down and many that are still operational have gone out of the reach of the common man. More worrisome, so many persons still clapping in sycophancy instead of condemning what is entirely wrong in the eyes of man and ofcourse, God.
Dr Joseph Ikpea has observed with regrets the retarding development in Edo, no meaningful progress. Excuses are being dished out to the public via social media handlers on a daily basis. An administration that has received more funds than any other since the inception of the state has nothing to show for it. Edolites now listen to grammar daily in defense for their poor performance. Technocrat indeed!.
Those that would have spoken up have had a fair share of Edo resources and everyone is keeping quiet as if all is well.
Businesses in Edo had crumbled as roads have become unpassable. Every part of the state is cut off from the state capital and kidnappers are catching on this governmental lapses to deal with unsuspecting innocent citizens. Above all, people die daily due to avoidable issues like bad roads. What we see are messages of condolences from the government as if it truly cares.
We saw a supposed Local Government Elections tuned local government selection wherein 100 ballots were assigned to all polling units irrespective of the registered voters and before voters could come to terms with the short change done them by the government with their tax payers funds, results as already pre-prepared were being announced.
Never again will Edo get it wrong. Edolites refused to be deceived one more time as they are seriously trying to do now. Never again shall we allow chameleonic politicians take the helm of affairs.
We have been on ultimate search for the right man for the job. Our search brought forth Hon. Dr Joseph Ikpea as the only man that can save Edo this critical time.
