A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has congratulated the winner of the party’s Friday re-run primary election in the state, Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza, while reminding him that more work needs to be done to win over Edo State in the September 21, 2024 election.
Ikpea’s message to Senator Monday Okpebholo read: “Hearty Congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza for clinching the APC governorship ticket.
“It was a well fought, and well deserved effort. There’s more work left to be done to capture the government house, and reunite our great party ahead of the September elections. We must also all rally to the cause and collectively work hard to reconcile our party.
“As an APC stakeholder, I offer my full and unalloyed support to Senator Monday Okpebholo personally and his campaign ahead and in every effort to rebuild our party. Now that the primaries are over, I call on all the APC aspirants to come out and fully support Senator Okpebholo so that we can collectively achieve victory in 21 September 2024.”
