Hon. Dr. Ikpea condoles with Ovia River Accident Victims
Edo State Governorship Aspirant, Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea, on Saturday, commiserated with friends, families and the entire state over the loss of lives due to road accident on the Ovia River bridge along the Benin-Lagos Express Road that claimed the lives of 11 people.
The governorship aspirant in a statement expressed shock over the incident, describing it as a sad and unfortunate occurrence.
He prayed , God grants the deceased eternal rest and grant their families fortitude to bear this loss, adding that it is a loss not only for their families but for Edo state and the entire nation.
“I commiserate with friends and families of victims of the Ovia River bridge road accident which took several lives.
“It is a very shocking incident and at the same time very unfortunate as many lives were lost.
“May God grant the deceased eternal rest and grant their families fortitude to bear the loss.
“This is not a loss for their immediate families alone, but indeed a loss to the entire nation,” Ikpea noted.
