Hon. Collins Aigbogun distributes solar power kits and solar powered fans to 100 women in Esan West.
The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council, as part of his measures to mitigate the effect of subsidy removal, has commenced the distribution of home solar power kits and solar fans to 100 women across the local government.
According the council Boss, “we have assessed that solar powered appliances and kits would be very useful to families most especially in the rural areas where there is inadequate and epileptic power supply, noting that, with the current situation in the country, it’s very difficult and almost impossible for most families to afford fuel to power their gadgets.
The home solar power kit attached to the fan is a multifunctional kit that will allows beneficiaries to charge the solar fan, phones, solar bulbs amongst others.
Upon receiving the items, the beneficiaries who could not hold their joy, showered an encomium on Hon. Collins Aigbogun for the kind gesture, describing the Council Chairman as a man who always come in different dimensions to meet the needs of his people.
