…scored the Council Boss above expectation

The Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Godwin Obaseki during his visit to Esan West Local Government yesterday the 8th of August 2024 eulogized the Executive Chairman of the Council Hon. Collins Aigbogun for his groundbreaking achievements within a short period as the Chairman.

Recall also during the governor’s visit to the local government a few months ago when Hon. Collins Aigbogun hosted the launch of telemedicine in the local government, His Excellency had commended the Council Boss for his proactiveness, urging others to emulate his footprint being the first Council Chairman to launch telemedicine in Edo Central.

The commendation of the Governor today is also a testament to the Council Chairman’s resilience, determination and proactive moves towards community development, nation building and other developmental strides

The Governor who was warmthly received by the good people of Esan West at the residence of the former House of Representative member Rt. Hon. Joe Edionwele expressed his profound gratitude to the people for their unalloyed support for his administration, and their resilience towards ensuring Edo State becomes the place of our dreams.

The Council Boss who was scored above expectation by the Governor for his developmental strides and unique approach to governance, commend His Excellency for leadership style and the conducive atmosphere granted to him to thrive as the Council Chairman.

“The local government is sealed already for the Peoples Democratic Party and has become out of bound to the opposition parties. The people have unanimously resolved to queue behind the candidates of the party Asue/Ogie ahead of the September 21st guber election in the state. The opposition parties in the local government have been dismantled as over 80 percent of their members harvested to the Peoples’ Democratic Party.
