A prophet has been honoured by his own people as supporters and friends of Amb. Donatus Enahoro Ojeifoh (Jr) contributed money to obtain a nomination form for him to run as Chairman of Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.
“We are doing this because we know his capacity and preparedness to function effectively in leadership position. We trust his goodwill, his passion for Esan Community development and his love for humanity”, one of his supporters told newsmen in Usugbenu after their principal returned from the state PDP Secretariat where he went to obtain the form.
Another supporter stated that “we are happy that he allowed us to do this for him. For ones we are able to contribute to his success. He has been supporting us, enrolling for our students to write WAEC and engaging in other selfless community development without asking for any rewards. It’s a thing of joy to us that we can do this for him. Not that he can’t afford the form by himself but we did it as a token of love from us and to show him how committed we are to his aspirations”, he added.
The Usugbenu Irrua-born Agribusiness industrialist is not a new name in the political terrain. He was a viable contender for the recent House of Assembly elections in the state in which he vied to represent Esan Central at the Anthony Enahoro Complex but narrowly lost out.
He is a faithful party man and a philanthropist. Over the years he has enrolled WAEC Exams for over 20 candidates, supported artisans with start-up kits to launch their trade as well as provide improved seedlings to farmers in Esan Central LGA.
Enahoro Ojeifoh is also an accomplished farmer. He seats as a major stakeholder in agricultural sector in Nigeria. Through this position he has empowered farmers to improve their farm yield thus contributing to food security in Nigeria.
As a stakeholder of Usugbenu Grammar School, Enahoro Ojeifoh Jr has provided teachers to complement government effort in a bid to promote learning in his home town.
“Amb. Ojeifoh is the right choice to lead the LGA this time considering his antecedents”, another supporter added.
