FA Cup: Onolememen Felicitates With Bendel Insurance.
The former Minister of Works, Dr (Arc) Mike Onolememen CON, has felicitated with Bendel Insurance for winning the 2023 edition of the NFF Tingo Federation Cup.
In a fiercely contested march which was held yesterday, the state owned football team defeated Rangers International Football Club with a single goal in the finals held in Asaba, Delta State.
In statement, Onolememen said, “I felicitate with Bendel Insurance Football Club for lifting the Federation Cup after defeating their rivals in Delta State yesterday.
“The outstanding performance was a result of weeks of training, dedication, resilience and strategic planning. They made all citizens of Edo State proud as this cup has eluded them for over three decades.
“I must extend my felicitations also to the Edo State Government for its support to the team, the Edo State Sports Commission, the management and very importantly, the supporters.
“I wish them more feats now and in the future especially in winning continental and international trophies. This should just be the beginning.”
