EWU GRAMMAR SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, CLASS OF 2000 DONATES TABLES AND CHAIRS TO ALMA MATER.
It was a moment of joy in Ewu Grammar School, Ewu Esan on Tuesday, 7th May, 2024 as a group of old student under the name, Ewu Grammar School Alumni Association, millennium set also known as *EGSA Class of 2000* paid a visit to the Alma Mater and donated some sets of 3-in-1 tables and chairs to the school.
This visit and donation of tables and chairs which the representatives of the alumni, Engr. Daniel O. O. Jatto, Mr. Samson Odion Okonofua and Mr. Victor Otoide on behalf of the association described as a giving back visit to the Alma Mater which has produced notable personality across all spectra of life.
The senior school principal, Mrs. Cathy Umoru who received the items on behalf of the school expressed joy for such gesture. She used the opportunity to introduced a young graduate of EGS by name, James Ason who recently scored 318 in the recent JAMB Examination.
Speaking on behalf of the body, Engr. Daniel O. O. Jatto, said this is the first phase for the giving back and assured the school that more plans are on the way for such hand.
He further call on other alumni and well-meaning individuals to harness alumni association as a tool for development of the great Alma Mater (Ewu Grammar School, Ewu Esan) as a way to compliment the efforts of the government. He also appealed to old students to find time to visit the school.
