…Hon. Peter Oare dedicates the presentation of the wrappers to the Executive Chairman of the Council Hon. Collins Aigbogun and his amiable wife Hon. Vivian Ofure Aigbogun.
It was a memorable event at Uhiele Community on Sunday 16th June, 2024 as the Supervisor for Works in Esan West, Hon. Peter Oare donates over 150 wrappers to Uhiele women in Ward 9. The gesture he said was an appreciation of the supports they gave to the Executive Chairman of Esan West Council Hon. Collins Aigbogun who found him worthy to serve as the Supervisor for Works.
Hon. Peter Oare expressed his profound gratitude to the first lady of Esan West Council, Hon. Mrs. Vivian Ofure Aigbogun for her generosity and immense contributions towards making the event a successful one. In the words of Hon. Oare “when I informed Hon. Mrs. Vivian Aigbogun about the program, she embraced it with so much excitement, and then approved additional 50 pieces of wrapper for the women and here she is today for the official presentation”.
The supervisor for works also extends the accolades to Hon. Collins Aigbogun noting that, the program wouldn’t have been a successful one if not for the benevolence of the Chairman who has always given him the necessary supports and conducive atmosphere to work with him.
Also speaking during the presentation ceremony, the former chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Chief Stella Okoro commends the supervisor for works for the kind gesture to the women of Uhiele Community. While applauding the women for their supports in the last general election and local government election, she promised more additional wrappers for the women and the presentation date will be communicated to them by the leaders of the ward upon arrival.
Furthermore, the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Collins Aigbogun while commending Hon. Oare for the initiative, he assured the women and the good people of Ward 9 of more dividends of democracy. He also used the opportunity to rallied supports for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
The women who were so overwhelmed with joy, showered encomium on Hon. Peter Oare, Hon. Collins Aigbogun and all the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Esan West LGA. They reaffirmed their unwavering support for the party and promised to deliver their votes for the candidates of PDP ahead of September 21st guber election.
Also present at the presentation ceremony were, Chief Dr. Francis Ulinfun – National leader of PDP in Esan West, Hon. Monday Abulu – former chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Barr. Idiakheua, Hon. Mrs. Stella Ukhurebor – President of Excellent Woman Association of Nigeria, Hon. Zubberous Edoghonghon, amongst other personalities.
