Esan West Local Government Council Boss, Hon. Aigbogun, Harvest More APC members in Ward 10
…as more APC members defects to PDP
…says, Hon. Aigbogun’s giant strides in the local government formed part of what influenced their decisions to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Collins Aigbogun has received Hon. Aseijiebhor Peter the number 1 leader of APC in Ward 10 and his followers to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This is the third time within two months that Hon. Collins Aigbogun is harvesting members of the All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party’s family in same Ward 10 in Illeh community.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Aseijiebhor Peter the number 1 leader of the APC in Ward 10 noted that his decision to return to PDP was greatly influenced by the Council chairman’s developmental strides in the local government. He further stated that it would be a disservice to humanity for him to work against a man who has been making positive and visible impacts across the local government.
Hon. Aseijiebhor Peter who narrated the ordeal that prompted his decision to join the All Progressive Congress in time past, said it’s now very eminent for him to return to his home Party (PDP) which according to him, is the only party with clear vision to bring development to the people.
Hon. Aseijiebhor and his followers who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party drum support for Asue Ighodalo ahead of September 21st gubernatorial election noting that, it’s only when Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party wins the coming election that Hon. Collins Aigbogun will retain his position as the Council Chairman to continue to good work he has started in the local government. We won’t stand as an obstacle to what will liberate our community and local government, he said.
While receiving the defectors from the All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Collins Aigbogun appreciates the leaders and members of the All Progressive Congress in Ward 10 (Illeh community) for the confidence they reposed on him and their bold decision to join hands with him in the Peoples Democratic Party to bring more development to the local government and also to deliver the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Dr. Asue Ighodalo in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
