The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Collins Aigbogun has warned residents against indiscriminate dumping of refuse in drainages, waterways and other unauthorized locations as this will help to keep our environment clean and healthy as well as avert flooding and erosion.
during an inspection tour of the site for Skills Acquisition Centre along GT Extension road at Ujemen, Hon. Collins Aigbogun expressed his displeasure on how the residents around the area have turned the site into a refuse dumping site. He therefore appealed to the residents to join hands with the government in making our environment clean and a better place to live.
The Council Boss who promised to evacuate the debris from the location as soon as possible also reel out plans to develop the skill acquisition centre for the benefit of the good people of the local government.
The chairman reiterated on the commitment of his administration towards engaging every activity that will impact the society positively. The skills acquisition centre would enable us develop the talents and potentials of youths thereby preparing them for a better tomorrow. Upon the completion of the skills acquisition centre, it will be equipped for our youths to engage themselves with profitable activities and skills.
Hon. Irheobhude, the Eghonghon of Ekpoma who also accompanied the Council Chairman to the site, eulogized Hon. Collins Aigbogun for always listening to the yearnings of his people. He promised to always cooperate with the Council Chairman in his quest to make Esan West Council the envy of all through infrastructural development, economic prosperity, human capacity building etc.
