Esan West Council Chairman set to commence construction of Ultra Modern Shopping Complex in Ekpoma Market.

The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council, Hon. Collins Aigbogun in a bid to upgrade the Ekpoma Market, set to commence the construction of Ultra Modern shops in the market.
The Council Boss disclosed this during his tour of the site on Wednesday 22nd of November, 2023. In his statement “the construction of the modern shopping complex, upon completion would give the market and environ a new and inviting look, boost the economic activities in the local government and raise a standard of living for our people”.
Furthermore, Hon. Collins Aigbogun said the Ultra Modern shopping complex would have facilities comparable to those of developed countries and will be affordable for traders. The complex would comprise of lock-up shops, open stalls, whorehouse, car parks etc.
The Chairman disclosed that his government has lineups of activities to promote trade and businesses in the local government. In order to stimulate, operate and enhance economic growth and development in the local government, his administration will create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
During the site tour, market women applauded the Council Chairman for the new initiative and also in appreciation for the Solar grid project which he extended to the market axis. They expressed satisfaction.
