Esan West Council Chairman Hon. Aigbogun Leads BUA Contractors, constructing Benin Auchi Express Way On A Courtesy Visit To The Palace Of The Onojie Of Ekpoma
It was a moment worthy of recognition as the Executive chairman of Esan west Local Government area, Hon. Collins Aigbogun together with his entourage lead the delegation of BUA contractors to the palace of the Onojie of Ekpoma, HRH (Barr.) Anthony Ehizojie, Abumere II.
Hon. Collins at the palace, told the Onojie that it was of moral and ethical importance to formerly notify him of the presence of the contractors in his kingdom and also give progress report of the ongoing dualization of the Benin/Auchi Expressway which covers a distance of 30KM, which significantly affects a notable area within the local government area. However, he apologized for the delay of the proposed time to visit, stalled by some politically minded mischief makers.
HRH, Zaiki Barr. Anthony Ehizojie, Abumere II the Onojie of Ekpoma welcomed the delegates to his palace. He thanked the company for their intervention as the road had become a nightmare to residents. He again commended the efforts of the Executive chairman who had provided the company with all necessary machineries such as accommodation, yard and security to aid their smooth operation, stating emphatically politics must be put aside for the sake of the people to meeting the timely completion of the work.
The Onojie further assured the delegation of all the necessary support needed to ensure a hitch free operation. Backing his words with action, he immediately provided details of emissaries from the palace who shall secure the workers’ well being from any form of external harassment.
Giving a superficial information of the terms of agreement and nature of construction by the spokesman of the company, who qualified their visitation as introductory, firmly assured the king of continually visiting the palace for more fatherly blessings as well as to build a better relationship with the king and abreast him with details of their work progress.
Hon. Collins thanked the Royal father for his fatherly care and support since his assumption of office. “The warmth hospitality of his Highness has made the palace my second home”, he added.
