The Executive Chairman of Esan West Council Hon. Collins Aigbogun with the member of Christian Football Association’s planning committee led by Pastor Valentine Osakpolor, on Sunday the 16th of June 2024 presented a cash prize of Five Hundred Thousand Naira and a set of drum to The Apostolic Church, Ekpoma whose football team emerged first in the just concluded Esan West Golden Cup (tagged “Football goes to church”).
The football competition which was organised by Christian Football Association was sponsored by the Executive Chairman of Esan West Council Hon. Collins Aigbogun in support of the candidates of Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Osarodion Ogie
Receiving the Cash prize and the set of drum, the Church was so excited as they commend and poured prayer of blessings on the council Chairman for the good initiative noting that, it’s another means of evangelism.
