Esan Central Local Government Council Boss Commits To Development Of Physically Challenged
…..seeks improved welfare for physically challenged persons
The chairman Esan central local government council, Hon. Paul Onosedeba Iyoha, has reiterated his commitment towards the overall welfare and development of the physically challenged persons in the local government, through education and vocational skills.
The council chairman gave the assurance when executives and members of the association of the physically challenged in Esan central local government paid him courtesy visit in his office on Friday 29th September, 2023.
The leader of the group, Deacon Oriwoh who spoke on behalf of the group told the council boss that his emergence as the Chairman of the Local Government at this time in not only divine but an act of God for the poor masses to feel the true impact of good governance.
In his speech he pleaded with the Chairman to remember them in his line of programs especially when they are unable to compete in the society like others.
The Chairman in his response promised to engage some of them in skill acquisition and financial empowerment programs also give few direct employment in the local government civil service system soonest.
He also called on everybody in the local government, including the private sector organizations, to contribute to making the lives of the special persons better.
High point of the visit was prayers: for Esan Central Local Government Area, Leadership of the Local Government Council/Staff, Divine intervention in the affairs of government and its economy at all levels.
