Esan Central Legislative Arm Suspends Member
…reshuffles portfolios of principal officers

The leadership of Esan Central Local Government Council Legislative Arm has suspended one of its members.
The suspended member is Hon. Kelvin Iyere, councilor representing ward 4 local government constituency and former majority leader of the House.
The lawmaker was suspended indefinitely at Monday’s plenary over his alleged anti-party activities and leaking of the house information to opposition.
In a letter signed by the Leader of the House, Hon. Victor Ehis Okosun, a copy of which was sighted by our Correspondent, the Legislative Arm said the member was suspended indefinitely without pay for his gross misconduct and misdemeanor, anti-party activities and leaking of the house information to the opposition party.
Subsequently, the house reshuffled the portfolios of its principal office holders, where some principal office holders were removed from their positions.
The changes are as follows;
Hon. Famous Ehinoria Ebanehita, councillor representing ward 10, and Deputy Leader, has been removed as Deputy Leader and replaced by Hon. Isaac Aigbe Onoigboria, councillor representing ward 8.
Hon. Solomon Onabhagbe, councillor representing ward 7 was removed as the Chief whip of the House and replaced with Hon. Edoise Itute Councillor representing ward 9. While Hon. Izidu Saturday Deputy House Leader and Councilor representing ward 2 was relieved of his portfolio and replaced with Hon. Okpeahior Abhulimen, councilor representing ward 1 and Hon. Kelvin Iyere member representing ward 4 and former leader of the House was replaced with Hon. Egbele George Washington, member representing ward 5.
