EID: ISTH CMD hails Muslims, task staff on greater task of sympathy, competence

The Chief Medical Director of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH), Prof. Dr. Reuben Agbons Eifediyi, has urged the muslims in the hospital to continue to devote themselves to prayers.

Prof. Eifediyi, in his congratulatory message to Muslims on the occasion of Eld-al-Fitr celebration, hinged the various developmental activities going on in the hospital on answered prayer.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Irrua on Saturday, while congratulating the Muslims on the Ramadan fast, prayed Allah to keep on protecting everyone to witness more celebrations.

He encouraged Muslim faithful to demonstrate the practices and virtues holy month which include peace, love, kindness, tolerance and empathy.

Prof. Eifediyi said that the attributes of Islamic faith is in tandem with the works of health practitioners, adding that the services of saving lives should be done unto Allah.

The CMD urged the staff to continue to show greater sense of sympathy and commitment in the course of discharging their duties.

The ISTH boss noted that the teaching hospital is key to the delivery of health care services to the people of Edo State and Nigeria at large, stressing that regular medical checkup is paramount to healthy living and encouraged all citizens to embrace it.
