Eid-el Fitr: Governorship Hopeful, Rt Hon. Sergius Ogun Felicitates With Muslims In Edo
Edo 2024 governorship hopeful and distinguished outgoing member representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. ( Barr.) Deacon Sergius Ose Ogun has sent warm greetings to the muslim family in Edo state on the joyous occasion of Eid-el Fitr celebration.
In a message released today, Rt Hon. Sergius Ogun congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast while urging them to allow the solemness and lessons learnt from the Holy Month influence and guide the way and manner they relate with their fellow men and women.
Against the backdrop of the teething political tensions and disputes trailing the conduct of the 2023 general elections coupled with the subsisting security challenges all over the country, Rt Hon. Sergius Ogun admonished all muslims to continue to pray for peace and unity while stressing that no nation can make meaningful progress without peace, unity, law and order.
Going further, the Uncommon Lawmaker appealed to Nigerians of all faith to put aside religious, tribal and political differences and urged them to live together in peace and work in harmony to move the country forward.
