Edo2024: Project 2024 Host Sen. Monday Okpebholo

Ahead of the September 21 gubernatorial election in Edo State, The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has continued to receive overwhelming support from the people of the state both at home and abroad.
A foremost Socio-political movement, Project 24, a support group with large membership drawn from all walks of life across the three Senatorial Districts of Edo State, United by a common goal to prevent Obaseki from imposing his godson as his successor. With a sacred mandate to galvanize support and Mobilise votes for the APC gubernatorial candidate through various programs and outreaches on Thursday 16 May 2024 played host to Senator Monday Okpebholo in an interactive session at his campaign office along Ikpokpan road G.R.A, Benin City.
During the interactive session, the group listed its campaign successes and programs lined up for the campaign season, consignments of campaign materials including branded caps, aprons and other souvenirs were presented for use to the admiration of those in attendance.
Addressing the group, Sen. Okpebholo thanked members of the group for their initiative and their commitment to his project. He clearly laid out his vision and mission for Edo state and demonstrated a crystalline roadmap to a new Edo that is rising. He applauded the group for their sacrifice and tireless effort to make sure that Edo people are rescued from the stranglehold of the current administration that is insensitive to the plight of the citizens and residents of Edo State. As faithful partners in the project of desperately rescuing Edo State, he encouraged the group to do more and assured them of his support.
The APC State Chairman who was highly elated, equally thanked the group for its resourcefulness and the belief in the blessed mission to change the narrative in Edo to a positive one. He asserted that Project 2024 has not only shown capacity but has also taken the lead as a support group to take the Message of Sen. Monday Okpebholo to the nooks and crannies of Edo State. He encouraged more people to emulate Project 2024.
On his part, the State Secretary of APC congratulated the group for work well done. He praised the group for their laudable campaign programs and the successes recorded so far.
The Former Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Festus Ebea eulogized the group for taking the lead with this initiative. He could not hide his joy and satisfaction looking at the caliber of members and their assets. He thanked the group and urged its members to redouble their efforts to secure victory.
Chairman of the group and the convener Dr. Omo Ebosele thanked Sen. Monday Okpebholo for finding time in spite of his busy schedule to engage with members of Project 2024. He assured that the group will redouble its campaign efforts to guarantee victory for APC come September 21.
In the entourage of the Senator were, the APC state chairman, Emperor Jaret Tenebe; the APC state secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah, former deputy speaker of the Edo State house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Festus Ebea and other party party Chieftains.
