Edo state is set to build the First International Gold Processing and Analysis Centre in Nigeria.
The Edo State government is set to build the first International gold processing and analysis center in Nigeria to boost its internally generated revenue (IGR) by harnessing all its solid mineral deposits in the state to expand her economic scope.
The processing centre will attract high level investors, increase the state GDP, increase forex, open Edo state to solid minerals investment choice and create thousands of jobs.
Speaking at the building site inspection in Akoko-Edo, the state commissioner for Mining, Oil, Gas and Energy, Hon Enahoro Ojiefoh, said this is a laudable project of Mr Governor to transform the Edo state solid minerals sector.
This will be the first processing and analysis centre in Nigeria and second in West Africa, a few days from now we are going to showcase the multi billion investment project landmark and the massive transformation the Governor has done in the mining sector, he said
