Edo Poll: Ogie Running mate Ticket To Asue, Master Stroke For PDP Victory….Okoduwa
Former Senior Special Adviser to Governor Godwin Obaseki on Human Trafficking, Comrade Solomon Okoduwa said the choice of Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Osarodion Ogie as the running mate to Asue Ighodalo’s PDP Governorship ticket as a political master stroke that would guarantee victory for party.
Okoduwa, who spoke to newsmen in Benin Thursday shorty after he inaugurated a grassroot campaign group with the sole objective to mobilize support for the Asue/Ogie governorship ticket.
He urged Edo Voters to queue behind the PDP candidate and his running mate to sustain the gains made by the Godwin Obaseki ‘s led administration.
He said Ogie over the years have demonstrated capacity, love and passion in uplifting the Edo youth and the downtrodden adding that his style of politics transcend partisanship and should be emulated.
He said, “Ogie’s fatherly disposition cut across board. As a grassroot politician that is love across political divide the PDP will gain overwhelming support among majority of Edo voters across the three senatorial districts.”
“I can recall vividly his efforts and concern in ensuring that all returned migrants in Edo are rehabilitated and this can be attested to. He is a listening leader that and that is why are coming out to throw our support to him.
The youth leader, also a human rights activist also admonished all voting public especially the youth to wisely cast their ballot for the Peoples Democratic Party for their interest.
“I want to call on all and sundry to rally round the man whose life has inspired many. The man whose antecedents is more than enough to win the state for his party. Ogie is mentor and father-figure to millions of Edo youth.
