Edo PDP Felicitates with Oba of Benin on 7th coronation anniversary
…..celebrates his 70th birthday
The Edo State Chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday congratulated His Royal Majesty, Omo’NOba n’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin on his 7th coronation anniversary.
The party in a statement by its state chairman, Rt. Hon. Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, wished the Oba of Benin and members of the Royal Family, continual good health and much happiness, as well as prosperity to the people of Benin Kingdom and Edo State at large.
The party added that His Majesty’s love for the Edo people, endless services and wise leadership, has brought great successes to his domain, making it prosperous and peaceful.
“I convey to your Majesty the good wishes of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Edo State, your subjects in the Great Kingdom of Benin and myself on the anniversary of your Coronation.
“I wish you and members of the Royal Family continual good health and much happiness, as well as prosperity to the people of Benin Kingdom and Edo State at large.
“Your Majesty’s love for the Edo people, endless services and wise leadership has brought great development to Your Majesty’s domain, making it prosperous and peaceful. As a result, Your Majesty’s people are happy and they revere their Oba with love, respect and praise.
“As providence will have it, today also is your Majesty’s birthday. I therefore also wish your Majesty a very happy birthday and many happy returns. May the spirits of our ancestors and God’s blessings and protection be with your Majesty always.
