Edo PDP demands the arrest of Edo APC acting chairman Jarrett over treasonable offence

The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, have asked the commissioner of police and the Director, Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest and prosecute the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC Edo chapter for treason.
In a statement on Monday, signed by the PDP chairman, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi read in parts;
EDO PDP CALLS ON THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE AND DIRECTOR DSS TO ARREST JARRETT TENEBE FOR TREASON
The attention of the Edo State Chapter of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , has been drawn to a viral video where the Acting State Chairman of The All Progressives Congress (APC), Jarrett Tenebe threatened to call on hoodlums to stone the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki. The PDP views this as a direct call for anarchy and a treasonable offence.
This video which was well circulated on social media, has caused anxiety and apprehension in the state. A situation whereby anyone will be threatening to call on hoodlums to stone a sitting Chief Executive of a state in the glare of security agencies is unacceptable.
The PDP hereby calls on the Edo State Commissioner of Police and The State Director of the Department of State Security (DSS), to immediately arrest Jarrett Tenebe and investigate thoroughly his outrageous statement. The PDP wishes to warn that failure to act is a potential call for anarchy in the state.
We call on all our supporters and party faithful to maintain the peace in the state and not to allow agents of disunity to plunge the state into anarchy.
