Edo PDP Candidate, Asue Ighodalo, sets to receive certificate of return
The PDP Candidate in the 2024 Edo State Governorship election, Asue Ighodalo, is now set to receive his certificate of return.
Recall that Ighodalo clinched victory at last Thursday’s primary election after polling 577 votes at the Lawn Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, the Edo State capital.
An invitation letter to the Candidate, by the PDP National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, informing him of this development reads, “this is to formally inform you; pursuant to the earlier approved and published timetable of our great Party, the PDP, and the ratification of your candidacy by the National Working Committee (NWC), that our Ag. National Chairman, H.E. Amb. Umar Iliya Damagun, shall present to you your certificate of return.”
Date of presentation is “Wednesday, 28th February, 2024 at the NEC Hall, Wadata Plaza, National Secretariat, FCT, Abuja, 12.00noon.”
“Please note that you are required to be in attendance to receive this certificate”, Bature added.
