Edo Guber 2024: Engr. Sebastian Iyere picks NNPP governorship nomination form.
A frontline Governorship aspirant in Edo State, Revd. Engr. Sebastian Iyere Oyekpen Iyere, has picked his nomination and expression of interest forms on Monday the 5th day of February, 2024, at the National Secretariat of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Abuja.
Addressing members of the National Working Committee after obtaining the forms, Engr. Iyere thanked the National leadership of the party for welcoming him and his team and for there strategic role in the nation’s democracy space. He appreciated the towering national role of the National Leader Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (founder of The National Movement and the Kwankwasiya Movement) and BOT Leader, Buba Galadima for his founding and great leadership role in the party.
The governorship aspirant assured the NWC and the people of Edo State that a new freshness will envelope Edo State as NNPP takes charge of Edo governance come November, 2024, promising to promote extensive development of sustainable infrastructure in Edo State, leveraging on Technology which underpin his agenda.
He appreciated the leadership of NNPP in Edo State for their unwavering support so far.
Earlier, the BOT Leader, Buba Galadima, commended Engr. Sebastian Iyere for his tenacity and courage on his mission to rescue Edo state. He commended members of the party from the region.
He said, “You have to have a strong heart, vision or commitment to be governor. I commend your courage. The country needs sincere religious leaders like you to pilot the affairs of the country in general and Edo State in particular.”
He prayed God to grant the guber aspirant his heart desire and give NNPP Edo State victory in the forth coming guber elections.
Engr. Iyere was accompanied to the Secretariat by some chieftains of the party across the three senatorial districts from Edo State.
