Edo Assembly Speaker Congratulates Super Eagles of Nigeria on superlative semi final victory against Bafana-Bafana of South Africa
Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku has Congratulated the Nations senior football team, the Super Eagles over their semi final victory against the South African team Bafana Bafana, describing the performance as Superlative.
In a Special Message to the team, Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku said the match was tension soaking but the Super Eagles proved their dominance by winning the match.
The Match played on on Wednesday night, moved the Eagles progressively to the finals of the African Cup of Nations.
Rt Hon Blessing Agbebaku stated this victory against South Africa, ‘Bafana Bafana’ on the statute of penalty kicks at the tournament holding in Ivory Coast is a further testament that a better Nigeria is possible if all unite.
Commending the Super Eagles for attaining this much needed victory as a sign of greater victories for the Country.
Mr Speaker Congratulated the team coach Jose Pisiero for the assemblage and tutelage of a great team which has made the country proud and would definitely lift the AFCON trophy.
