A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, and Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant, Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea, has commended the recent appointment of Mr. Sylvester Oboh, as The interim head of the Observer News Paper.
He described it as a well-deserved recognition under the APC-led administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Governor Okpebholo, recently approved the appointment of Mr. Sylvester Oboh, who was until his appointment held the position of the Director of Media, Edo State Development and Property Corporation (ESDPC).
The announcement, made through a press release by Governor Okpebholo’s spokesperson, Mr. Fred Itua, has been widely praised.
Hon. Ikpea while lauding Oboh’s appointment noted that “his appointment is a strategic choice, selecting individuals who have consistently demonstrated their competence and dedication in their respective fields is a square peg in a square hole.”
He also highlighted the proven track records of the appointee, emphasizing his potential to outperform his assignment. “Mr Sylvester Oboh has long been a voice of progress and champion of development. I am confident he will bring about meaningful change in this capacity,” Ikpea added.
