Edo 2024 PDP Gubernatorial Aspirant, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue JP aka JOEFEL Bags Grassroot Development Award
A frontline Edo 2024 People’s Democratic Party governorship aspirant, Hon. (Dr.) Felix GODSENT Ehiguese Akhabue JP aka JOEFEL has received Grassroot Development Award from the Leadership and Development Initiative, for his numerous Grassroot people-oriented strides in the state and the country at large.
Receiving the award on behalf of gubernatorial Aspirant at the year 2023 Leadership And Development Award 2024 at the Elora Royal Hall and Suite in Benin City on Saturday the 6th of January, 2024, the aid to the frontline guber aspirant, Mr. Kingsley Ohens appreciated the Board of Directors, management and members of the group for the recognition, saying the honour would spur the honoree to do more life-transforming projects and programmes.
“On behalf of the Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue JP aka JOEFEL and The JOEFEL Solidarity Movement (JSM), I want to thank the organizers of this initiative for this award.
This award and other similar awards in the past will only spur him to greater commitment to the Progressive development of the citizens and the state which He sees as part of his callings by destiny. He assured the organizers and the entire citizens that JOEFEL’s focus and commitment is to contribute His quota for the best interest of the state and it’s citizens that will be pleasing to God, humanity, and posterity.
Speaking also, the Project coordinator of the Leadership And Development Initiative, Mr. Sunny Duke Okosun said the decision to honour Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, JP aka, JOEFEL was due to his numerous feats recorded as a former Esan West Local Government Council Chairman and as one of the employers of labour in the state.
The organizers further told the audience that the award was necessitated by Joefel’s achievements on massive youth empowerment/employment, sustainable Infrastructure and Agricultural programmes, as well as efforts in achieving qualitative education, and many others during his time as local government chairman of Esan West LGC, ALGON Leader, and currently as employer of labour”, he stated.
