Edo 2024: Kinsmen Recommit To Hon. Sergius Ogun’s Guber Ambition
Kinsmen of Edo 2024 foremost guber aspirant and two time member of the Federal House of Representatives , Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Ose Ogun have thrown their weight behind his decision to defect to the Labour Party.
The endorsement was made during Hon. Sergius Ogun’s meeting with his Kinsmen yesterday in Ugboha, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State. The former federal lawmaker who took time to reel out reasons which informed his decision to quit PDP disclosed to all present that he would be joining the Labour Party by 12noon on Monday 4th, December 2023.
Speaking on behalf of the kinsmen, Chief Christopher Agbai said: ” We have agreed that Hon. Sergius Ogun must contest Edo 2024 governorship election because we strongly believe that if given the opportunity to serve he will govern Edo well. Anywhere Sergius Ogun goes we are ready to follow him there”
Similarly, Mr Abel Ugbekpa who commended Hon. Sergius Ogun’s honesty, accessibility and transparency over the years declared that: ” Hon. Sergius Ogun is our son in whom we are well pleased. We wholeheartedly support his decision to join Labour Party. We are with him day and night.”
