Edo 2024: Ighodalo Commends INEC For CVR Extension
Team Asue Media Organization (TAMO) has commended the independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) for the the extension of the continuous voters registration (CRV) in Edo state.
In a press statement issued in Benin City on Tuesday and made available to Newsmen, the organization uses the opportunity to call on Edo citizens to take advantage of this extension to go register.
The statement read in parts;
The Team Asue Media Organization, TAMO, wishes to thank the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for heeding our appeal for an extension of the Continuous Voter Registration, CVR, in Edo State which was scheduled to end tomorrow Wednesday 5th June, 2024. Our respectful appeal, with others, to the commission has necessitated the approval for the extension of the exercise to be extended to Sunday, 9th June, 2024 to enable more eligible persons to register.
TAMO is using this opportunity to enjoin Edo State citizens, especially members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to come out in their numbers to register so that they can vote in the September 21st gubernatorial election.
Our candidate, Dr Asue Ighodalo, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, remains focused and resolute about his vision to move Edo State forward to a higher level of prosperity and development. Therefore, every single vote for him in the election counts. So go out there to any CVR centre near you to register, get your friends and family members to also register so that you all can vote for joint ticket of Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie. This is a passionate appeal to all well-meaning Edo State citizens.
