Edo 2024: Esan Central Stands Still for Asue, PDP

Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo state, stood still on Monday as residents of the local government expressed their support for the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, in Dr. Asue Ighodalo and his running mate Osarodion Ogie, ahead of the September 21 gubernatorial election.
The endorsement of Asue-Ogie by the people of the Esan Central local government came after the residents of the local government among others had expressed support for the PDP and its candidate in a solidarity match round the local government.
The mammoth crowd of PDP supporters, who held the local to a standstill, gathered from as early as 9:00am till about 5:00pm when Asue’s train arrived at the Okajesan Hall in the local government area where defectors from APC, NNPP, Labour and other parties where received.
The convoy of the PDP gubernatorial candidate that arrived at the Okajesan township hall was received by Sen. Clifford Ordia the PDP leader of the local government, MSE Adekunle Oboh, the Esan Central Local Government PDP campaign director, party leaders, party faithfuls and residents in the local government with the candidate acknowledging cheers from the people.
