The people of Edo State have come to regard the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Barr. Asuerinme Akintunde Ighodalo, as their new “Star Boy” due to his unwavering commitment to his beliefs and his victories in court cases filed against him by enemies of the state.
As the Edo State governorship election approaches, the political landscape is witnessing a dramatic turn of events. Despite facing a series of court cases aimed at discrediting his candidacy, Ighodalo has emerged stronger, with many believing that these legal battles have ultimately worked in his favour.
The court cases against Man Wey Sabi center on allegations of not being the rightful candidate and presenting a forged document of registration with INEC. His commitment to the state’s development and unwavering dedication have earned him the trust and admiration of the populace.
In contrast, his opponents are struggling to gain traction, resorting to renting crowds and fabricating support. The artificial attempts to boost their images are evident in staged events and paid advertisements, highlighting the lack of genuine support from the people. No wonder that each time they rent crowds, war always broke out when paying against their agreed prices.
As the election draws near, it becomes increasingly evident that the court cases against Ighodalo will only serve to promote him. The people of Edo State are poised to make a statement, rejecting the manipulative tactics of the opposition and embracing the hope and transformation that the “Star Boy” represents.
Ultimately, the court cases against Ighodalo will prove to be a blessing in disguise, solidifying his position as the people’s choice and paving the way for a resounding victory in the Edo State governorship election.
