Edo 2023: We didn’t endorse Gubernatorial Aspirant, Prince Clem Agba and Hon. Dennis Idahosa, says G14 Group
…..say media reports are embarrassing, odoriferous, mischievously misleading and are deliberate falsehood
The attention of G14 (a Group of former 14 elected Legislators who were denied access to represent their Constituencies in the 7th Edo State House of Assembly by the present tyrannical Edo State Government) has been drawn to media reports by two Governorship Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State, Prince Clem Agba and Hon. Dennis Idahosa.
In the aforesaid media reports, members of G14 were reported to have endorsed the governorship ambitions of the aforesaid two gubernatorial Aspirants in their separate meetings with the Group.
The said media reports are embarrassing, odoriferous, mischievously misleading and are deliberate falsehood.
The G14 condemns in strongest terms the said reports which are capable of brewing dissatisfaction amongst members of the Group, taking into cognizance the fact that two members of the Group are in the race for the sole Governorship ticket of our great Party, APC.
Members of the public are hereby reminded that members of G14 are strongly bonded by destiny and purpose and will continue to uphold and promote the spirit of brotherhood which binds them together.
Consequently, members of the public are enjoined to disregard the said media reports.
Furthermore, the two governorship Aspirants whose media aids in their quest to score cheap political points for their principals are warned to desist from such despicable act. Similarly, other Governorship Aspirants who may wish to interface with the G14 hereafter are hereby put on notice to monitor reportage by the media aids as the G14 will not condone any deliberate and mischievous misrepresentation of facts going forward.
